Professional Recognition

Put your best work to the test. Each year, NYSPRA conducts one of the largest communications contests in the country. Winning submissions are displayed at the annual New York State School Boards’ Association Convention.

Conference Stipends

NYSPRA awards an annual stipend to help members and their school districts defray the costs of attending professional conferences.

Partnerships

NYSPRA connects members with a variety of educational and public relations organizations. For more than 10 years, NYSPRA has forged a partnership with the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA).

Membership Dues

• Standard ($55): For working school PR professionals in districts and agencies.

• Institutional ($135): For up to three members from the same organization. 

• Vendor ($200): For vendors and partner organizations who want a formal seat at the NYSPRA table. 

• Student ($45): For college, graduate and PhD communications students who are considering school communications. 

• Transitional ($45): For any member whose position has been downsized or eliminated, but who wishes to remain involved with NYSPRA while they find a place to land.  

• Self-Pay ($45): We created this level in recognition of members and retirees who pay out of pocket for membership.
